How to connect Slack to Telegram
Under two minutes. No admin approval, no code. Here is the whole thing.
- 1
Sign in with Slack
Click "Sign in with Slack". Crosswire uses Slack sign-in — no separate account or password.
- 2
Install the Crosswire Slack app
Approve the install so Crosswire can read your channel list. This is a standard Slack app install — no admin approval dance.
- 3
Pick a Slack channel
Choose the channel you want to bridge from the picker. Crosswire creates a pending connection for it.
- 4
Open the Telegram link
Crosswire gives you a t.me/<bot>?startgroup= link. Tap it in Telegram and choose the group to add the bot to.
- 5
Add the bot to your group
Adding the Crosswire bot to the group is the pairing step — Telegram has no separate "grant access" screen.
- 6
You are bridged
Crosswire auto-detects the bot joining, activates the connection, and messages start relaying both ways immediately.
